Progress is key, learning is a process of life – that is true for anything, especially when it comes to riding and horse. Many people in our industry have benefitted from internships at the facilities of well-known trainers. But how does one find the perfect internship – or how does a trainer find a qualified intern? We are here to help! We want to create a platform where people can search for internships and interns.
Here is how this works if you want to intern for a trainer. We need the following information and ask you to answer the following questions:
- Name
- Age
- Where do you live and where do you want to intern?
- Do you want to intern for a longer time span or help at a show?
- How much experience in riding/showing do you have?
- What do you want to learn, which skills do you want to improve?
- Have you worked as an intern before?
- Any special skills? Do you, for example, know how to band or braid?
- What languages do you speak?
- Feel free to add anything that is important to you!
We need the following information if you are searching for an intern and ask you to answer the following questions:
- Are you searching for a long-time intern or someone to help at shows?
- Where is your facility located?
- What sort of horses do you train?
- Where would the intern stay?
- Do you pay and if so how much?
- What will be the interns task?
- In what way will the intern benefit from the experience? (e.g. lessons, experience in…)
- What skills should the intern have?

Die TSL Praktikums-Plattform
Das Leben ist endloses Lernen – das gilt für viele Lebensbereiche, aber besonders für den Umgang mit Pferden. Da viele während ihrer Reitkarriere von einem Praktikum profitieren, wollen wir euch hier die Möglichkeit geben, einen Praktikumsplatz oder eine(n) Praktikant(in) zu finden. Wir wollen eine Plattform zu diesem Zweck kreieren – ihr könnt uns gerne Bewerbungen/Gesuche schicken.
So funktioniert es: Wenn ihr ein Praktikum machen wollt, brauchen wir folgende Informationen und Antworten auf diese Fragen:
- Name
- Alter
- Wo kommst du her und wo willst du das Praktikum machen?
- Willst du ein längeres Praktikum machen oder erst einmal auf einem Turnier helfen?
- Wie viel Reit- und Turniererfahrung hast du?
- Was willst du lernen und in welchen Bereichen willst du dich verbessern?
- Hast du schon einmal ein Praktikum gemacht?
- Irgendwelche besonderen Fähigkeiten, beispielsweise Banding und Braiding?
- Welche Sprachen sprichst du?
- Ihr könnt außerdem natürlich ergänzen, was euch wichtig erscheint.
Falls ihr einen Praktikanten/eine Praktikantin sucht, brauchen wir folgende Informationen:
- Sucht ihr jemanden, der ein längeres Praktikum macht, oder eine Person, die auf den Turnieren hilft?
- Wo ist eure Anlage?
- Was für Pferde trainiert ihr? (All-round, Reining etc.)
- Wo würde die Praktikantin während des Praktikums leben?
- Gibt es eine Bezahlung und wenn ja, wie viel?
- Welche Aufgaben erwarten die Praktikantin?
- Wie profitiert der Praktikant von dem Praktikum? (Reitstunden etc.?)
- Welche Fähigkeiten sollte er/sie mitbringen?
- Ihr könnt außerdem natürlich ergänzen, was euch wichtig erscheint.
